Gifted young brass players, aged between 16-18, are able to apply for one of two annual teamArchie Brass Awards. The award provides £2,000 of funding for music-related expenses.  

In addition to this vital financial support, award recipients will benefit from one-to-one mentoring with internationally acclaimed trumpet soloist and teamArchie ambassador, Matilda Lloyd. Through personalised guidance, Matilda helps young brass players from low-income backgrounds  achieve their musical ambitions.

First introduced for the 2024/25 programme year, the teamArchie Brass Award has already left a mark. Award holders Carys and Ash had the opportunity to perform alongside Matilda and the Solus Trumpet Ensemble at teamArchie’s Christmas Concert in December 2024, showcasing the skills they learned during mentoring.
